We had our 36 week check-up this past week, with our last growth scan of the pregnancy. He was weighing in at an estimated 6 pounds 9 ounces and was head down in the proper position for delivery. I have been experiencing occasional contractions, but nothing consistent or too painful. The doctor seemed to think that he would most likely be making his arrival before our original due date of October 1st, which at this point does not bother me in the least!
We had our third and final baby shower last week, this one thrown by my co-workers. It was so much fun to spend time with them away from the stressful hospital environment! I am lucky to not only have a job that I love, but to have wonderful co-workers who make it even more enjoyable!
We have slowly been able to get those last few items checked off of our to-do list, and we are finally feeling fully prepared. The nursery is completed (the final pics are below), the carseat is set up and strapped into the car, and our hospital bags are packed! It is crazy, exciting, and just a bit scary to think that our next blog post will most likely be announcing his birth! How did that go so fast?! We can't wait to meet our little man and introduce him to everyone who loves him so much! Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this pregnancy, we are so blessed!
