Flying into the 3rd trimester!

As I write this post we are currently 31 weeks along, and I am not sure where the time has gone. We have officially been in the 3rd trimester for a few weeks now, and so far so good!
At our last two appointments Landen's growth has been right on track! At our 28 week ultrasound he was actually measuring close to 29 weeks...yippee! We are thrilled that despite their previous concerns he has so far proved everyone wrong by continuing to grow at an adequate rate. Unfortunately, he was not very cooperative at the last ultrasound, so we were not able to get any good pictures of his adorable little face, but we will have another ultrasound next week so hopefully we will get some then! 
It has been a busy month since our last post, as we celebrated my mom's birthday with a camping trip to Naches, which despite everyone's concern that I would be miserable camping at 7 months pregnant, was actually very enjoyable! The dogs loved the trip, and the weather cooperated with sunny days that weren't too hot!
We had one of our baby showers, hosted by my mother-in-law, Meg, which was a fun family event and we were amazed with the generosity of everyone who attended...thank you! Landen is already one spoiled little guy and he isn't even here yet!

We also attended my cousin's wedding, which was a blast! It was so great to see family that I had not seen since our wedding over 3 years ago! The wedding was beautiful and very fitting for this fun-loving and very in-love couple! Congratulations Chris and Colleen!
For my brother's birthday back in April we bought him tickets to the Seattle Sounders vs. Manchester United soccer match, so we attended the game this month and had a great time! He was able to see his favorite player score multiple goals and although the Sounders were creamed, it was really fun to watch one of the best teams in the world play!
Most recently we have been busy preparing the nursery for our little guy's arrival. We still have a few things to get, but it is coming along! I will post some pictures of what we have so far!

It is still a work in progress, but we are feeling more prepared each week. Hopefully we still have 8 or more weeks to get ready, but only time will tell!
This next month should be a little bit more relaxed with only a couple of events planned, so hopefully I will be better about updating the blog in a more timely manner!
