We had the surprise of our lives a few months ago when we found out that we are expecting! Although this was not in our plans for the next couple of years, we have adjusted, and are rapidly becoming very excited for the next phase of our life together. If anything, it has made our marriage stronger and shown me (Danielle), how lucky I am to have married such a wonderful and caring man. While it takes me a little longer to adjust to unexpected changes in my life, Tyler is pretty much the exact opposite, and has rolled with the punches from day one. We truly compliment each other, and I have the utmost faith in our ability to continue supporting each other as parents.
Here is a picture of our little peanut at 8 weeks. We are due October 1st, which will be here before we know it I am sure! We went back to the doctor today (Monday) for our 12 week appointment, and the baby has a strong heartbeat of 155! We also got another sneak peek with our 12 week ultrasound...it is amazing how much change has occurred in just one month! The little guy/girl was very active, literally jumping up and down through the entire scan, which will make things interesting when I can start to feel the movements! He/she was also very stubborn and would not move into the right position for the ultrasound tech...I wonder where they get that from?!

ReplyDeleteLove you both,
Aunt Jeannie
I keep meaning to congratulate you two! Whether you plan on pregnancy or not, I don't think you'll ever be prepared for what's to come! I've talked to Aunt Rosie and am glad to hear that everything is going well and that Danielle is not too sick. What a blessing! Also, what a blessing that it's only one! I think about you two often and the adventure you're about to take. Keep us posted!
