Thankful in November

November was a fairly quiet month for us...finally! Landen was 2 months old and starting to interact and share social smiles all the time. We are having so much fun learning what he likes and what will make him smile. I have started a list of his favorite things at each stage of his development so that we can look back in the future and reminisce (I feel like he is changing right before our eyes)! His current favorite things are:

• Sitting in his highchair with us at the table or when we are in the kitchen. He smiles the entire time, just happy to be included!
• Being in his swing
• Lying in his crib and watching/listening to his mobile
• His all time favorite thing right now is his daddy! He gives him instant smiles anytime he talks to him or even looks at him. It is so cute, and I am pretty sure the admiration is mutual!

We had a few days of nice weather this month where it wasn't too cold or raining, so we were able to get out for some walks with Landen and the dogs. It was so nice to get out and get Landen some fresh air (even though he slept the entire time). Kody and Maverick were thrilled as well!

For Thanksgiving we went to Tyler's dad's house where we spent the holiday with family, and our good friends Jeff and Krystal. Landen was very well behaved and even joined us at the dinner table in his high chair, although once again he slept through most of the meal :-).

 

 

 

The weekend after Thanksgiving we went to a tree farm and cut down our Christmas tree. It was pouring rain and pretty cold out, but we had a great time searching for the perfect tree.
